| Please try the following web sites to check out cheap travel arrangements. The airports of Sofia and Plovdiv and almost identical distances from Bansko but most of the cheap flights run to Sofia. The transfer from Sofia is best made by car. Since road signs are written in the Bulgarian alphabet (and therefore very difficult to read) and many of the roads are of a poor quality, we would recommend that you use the transfer details below rather than hiring a car.
